How Can I Edit Student and Staff Ambassador's Profile Details?

How to edit or update information on your ambassador's profiles

As a University Admin, there may be times when you need to update your Student or Staff Ambassador profile information. This gives you greater control over the profile details of your Ambassadors, and means that you can correct discrepancies quickly and easily, without reaching out to your Ambassadors and waiting for them to make changes themselves.

✍🏼 We would recommend informing Ambassadors if there are changes you plan to make to their profile, or as soon as possible once these changes have been made.


To edit your Ambassador's profile information, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Buddies tab in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click Manage in the sub menu to view either your Student or Staff Ambassadors. You can switch between them by clicking Student or Staff at the top of the page.

  3. You will see both Active and Inactive Ambassadors on this screen, and can filter to view only Active, or Inactive.

  4. You can either view profile details by clicking the profile picture, or the first name, of the Ambassador you'd like to edit, and then click Edit Profile in the top right. Alternatively, you can scroll along to the right, and click Edit.

4. There are a couple of changes which you can't make as a University Admin, and which are solely controlled by your Ambassadors, giving them room to express themselves authentically. These are;

  • Profile picture

  • First name

  • Last name

If you would like to ask an Ambassador to amend these details, you can contact them directly via a Broadcast through your University Dashboard.

5. Once your edits have been made, click on the Save button in order to set your changes live.
