When viewing a piece of content, a view counter is visible in the bottom left-hand corner. See the screenshot below:

Views do not appear if the content has less than 10 views.
If the content is viewed from the University Dashboard, it does not count towards the view count.
The views value is non-unique views. This means that every single time someone views the content, regardless if they have viewed it before, it will increment the overall view count.
