Your Assistant Dashboard: Analytics

Tracking your Unibuddy AI Assistant's impact, engagement trends, responses and traffic.

Overview

The Assistant Analytics section in your University Dashboard offers in-depth insights into how your AI Assistant is performing.

You’ll find everything from traffic stats to message quality and engagement trends, all in one place for your Admin team. Additionally, Assistant Analytics is enabled for all admin accounts by default and can be accessed through the University Dashboard.


📱 Accessing Assistant Analytics

To view and configure analytics for the Unibuddy Assistant:

  1. Log in to your admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the newly-enabled Assistant Tab within the dashboard.

  3. From the Assistant Tab, you can access detailed insights and make configuration changes as needed. For optimal use of this feature, familiarity with the dashboard interface is recommended.


📊 Traffic Metrics

These key indicators help you understand how students are interacting with your Assistant:

  • Impressions

  • Clicks

  • Number of Conversations

  • Average Student Messages per Conversation

🧠 Interactive Trend Charts Available:

  • Clicks per day

  • Conversations per day
    (Default view is per day; can be adjusted via dropdown.)


💬 Assistant Response Quality

Understand how well the Assistant is performing from the student's perspective:

  • Average Conversation Rating

  • Total Assistant Responses

  • Conversation Rating Breakdown Chart

  • Average Rating per Day Chart (adjustable view)

📋 Feedback Table
(Only includes feedback entries with written comments.)

  • Feedback Date

  • Feedback Score

  • Feedback Text
    🔗 Clicking a row opens the full conversation in a new tab for context.

👍 Liked / Disliked Messages Overview

  • Pie Chart of Likes vs. Dislikes

  • Table with:

    • Date Collected

    • Feedback Type (Like/Dislike)

    • Message Text

❓ Answers ‘Not in Knowledge-Base’

Track moments where the Assistant wasn’t confident in its response:

  • Total Number of These Answers

  • Over-Time Chart

  • Detailed Table with:

    • Date Sent

    • Message Text

💡 Assistant Referrals & Engagement Actions

Measure downstream student engagement triggered by the Assistant:

  • Chat Platform Sign-Ups (from Assistant referrals)

  • Staff Recommendations (made by the Assistant)

  • Ambassador Recommendations

  • ‘Connect Me’ Requests (when users ask to be connected)


⏱️ Estimated Staff Hours Saved

We estimate time saved based on ~5 minutes per message:

  • Total Hours Saved

  • Daily Breakdown Chart (timeframe adjustable)


✉️ Email Capture Insights

From the built-in email lead capture popup:

  • Total Emails Captured

  • Capture Volume by Day Chart

  • Detailed Email Table:

    • Date Captured

    • Email Address
      🧾 Export this list in CSV or XLSX format.


🔧 Tips & Tools

  • Analytics can be filtered for any date range (defaults to last 30 days)

  • Hover over any chart or table to reveal an export icon 📤


Troubleshooting FAQs

  • Who can use Assistant Analytics? Assistant Analytics is enabled for all admin accounts by default.

  • What if I cannot find the Assistant Tab? Ensure that you are using an admin account and that your platform is updated to the latest version. If the issue persists, please contact the Unibuddy Support Team.
