There are a couple of different ways that you can reach out to new friends within your universities Community.
In your Connect tab, you'll see carousels of other students studying the same course/program, and of the same nationality, after completing your own profile. Each of the profile previews in these carousels has a Message button. Simply click/tap this to send this person a message!
In your Connect tab, you can see a full list of all of the profiles within your Community by clicking/tapping the Community members pebble.
Filter by area of study, or simply scroll through to find new pals.
You can also click/tap the profile preview of someone you'd like to connect with in the Member list of your university Updates channel. Find your Updates channel pinned to the top of your Inbox.
On the Unibuddy app, you can tap the three dots at the top right of the Updates channel, and tap Members. Each member has a message icon to the right of their name. On desktop, go to Updates and you'll see the Members in the sidebar on the right hand side of the screen.
