Troubleshooting: Help with Verification codes

Are you an applicant and aren't receiving verification codes?

Requesting a new verification code

On the screen asking for your verification code, select Resend verification code. This will send a new code to the email address you signed up with.

If you don’t receive your verification code

  • Check your junk or spam folder

  • Make sure you’re logging in with the correct email address

  • Look for an email with the subject line:
    “Your signup code is [code] – Unibuddy on [University name]”

It’s always best to request a new code, as older verification codes can expire.

If the email still doesn’t arrive, try:

  • Restarting your device

  • Deleting and reinstalling the Unibuddy Student app

  • Logging in again and requesting a fresh verification code
