Inviting prospects to a live event

Once you have created a live event inside your University Dashboard, a unique event URL is generated. This event URL links directly to the registration page and can be shared with prospective students via email.


The live events signup process is identical to the main Unibuddy platform, and prospect data is captured in the Prospects area in your University Dashboard.

In the Live Events menu, you can track key metrics from your event, before and after it has taken place. These include:

  • Attendees

  • Participants (active attendees)

  • New Signups

  • Returning Users

  • Individual Live Feed Details


Promotion is key to the success of your live events, and we recommend a lead in time of at least 1-2 weeks to share the URL and generate sign-ups.

๐Ÿ’ก Remember to send reminder emails on the day of the event to maximise attendance, as Unibuddy does not send out reminders.
