Adding a GIF profile photo to your Unibuddy Ambassador account gives your profile that extra flourish, and can even encourage more prospects to contact you!
Many image editing and photo apps allow you to create animated GIFs from a short video or Live Photo. The exact steps vary depending on the software or device you are using, but the general process is similar.
Before you start
For the best results:
Record a short video (around 2–5 seconds).
Keep the camera steady.
Ensure you are well lit.
Use a simple, uncluttered background.
Smile or make a small, natural movement such as waving or nodding.
Record in portrait orientation if possible.
Create the GIF
Open your preferred photo editing or GIF creation app or website.
Import your short video or Live Photo.
Trim the clip to just a few seconds.
Crop the image to a square if you prefer.
Preview the animation and make any adjustments.
Export or save the animation as a GIF file.
Upload to your Unibuddy profile
Log in to your Unibuddy account on your Ambassador Dashboard, or in the Unibuddy Ambassador app.
Navigate to your profile settings.
Select the option to change your profile picture.
Upload the GIF file.
Save your changes.
Check that the animation displays correctly once your profile has updated.
