Prospect Lead Data Points

A breakdown of the CRM data points you'll receive when a prospect signs up to your Unibuddy Chat platform

Please see a breakdown in the table below of the specific data points you will receive for each prospective student who signs up to your Unibuddy Chat platform.

Key points to note:

  1. Sign-Up Location shows the broader location through which the relevant sign-up took place. A Sign-Up Location of Unibuddy App can currently refer to either the Unibuddy student app or the Community website.

  2. Source records the prospect’s original, first interaction with Unibuddy. This information can be retained if the prospect later engages with another university. A Source of Community therefore does not necessarily mean that the prospect is a member of your institution’s Community.

  3. Lead Source identifies the specific Unibuddy product or entry point that generated the lead, such as Unibuddy App or Embedded University Widget.

The University Widget (i.e. the embedded Unibuddy Chat Platform on your website)

For each registered prospective student

  • Email

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Expected Entry Year (unless university has turned off)

  • Country

  • Interested Area of Study

  • Number of Conversations

  • Degree Level (unless university has turned off)

  • University marketing consent (Y/N)

  • Sign-up location (i.e. Unibuddy Widget used by the Prospect)

  • Sign-up Source

  • Has applied (Y/N)

  • Profile Created Date

  • Conversation summaries (If a Premium Plus Customer)

  • Any additional custom fields added by the university

Widget

Community

Since students have to be invited to join a Community and Universities therefore already have data on each of these students, no data points are displayed in the prospect table for Community users.

You can, however, see which students have been invited and/or joined your Communities under the 'Members' tab for each Community.

NB: It won't include any additional custom fields added by the university to their widget
