Our research shows that a top-priority for students is to meet their future roommates, flatmates, or housemates before arriving on campus.

With that in mind, our team added additional fields to student accounts in Community, so that they can list their university housing option on their profile, or indicate that they are looking for private housing.

This means that they can filter and search for others in the same accommodation as them, meeting their new roommates before they set foot on campus!

If they're not living on campus or in university accommodation, and are instead going to be seeking private housing - often the case for postgraduates - they can filter for others in the same boat, and connect with people they might like to live with.
