Yes, we do. However, we first anonymise the conversation data and then send it to OpenAI to generate summaries.
We also have a data processing agreement in place with OpenAI which prevents OpenAI from using Unibuddy, and Unibuddy customer data, in order to train its models or for any purposes other than the provision of the service. OpenAI is listed on our sub-processor list, and our usage of it is covered by our Privacy Policy which students and you as an institution agree to when engaging with Unibuddy for the first time.
