The profile fields for Student & Staff Ambassadors are different, these can be edited at any time in your Ambassador Dashboard after you finish signing up.

Photo

A clear photo, with just you in it, is best. We accept the following picture formats; JPEG, PNG or GIF.

​Full Name

Only your first name will be displayed to prospective students.

​City of Origin

This will help prospects when they are filtering and searching.

​Language(s) Spoken

This will help students connect with you on a cultural level.

​Area of Study

Select your course from the drop-down menu. This list is provided by your university, so speak to your Unibuddy admin if you can’t find your degree.

​Undergraduate or Postgraduate

Select your level of study: Undergraduate (Bachelors) or Postgraduate (Masters, Doctorates, etc.)

​Year of Study

Select which year of study you are currently in.

​Favorite Courses

Let people get to know your educational background better by selecting your favorite course.

​Previous Course or Qualification

Select any previous qualifications you may hold.

​Hobbies and interests

Add a personal touch to your profile with what you do away from your study time.

​Societies

Connect with prospects by letting them know what societies you are part of at your university.

​Persona Bio

Introduce yourself! This must be at least 150 characters.

Custom Fields

There may be other custom fields that appear on the form, depending on what your admin has assigned.

Account Name

This can either be for a shared account such as "Accommodation" or if for an individual account then you can put your name in this field.

Department

You can select the department you belong to from the given list, if your department does not appear then you can type it in and an option to add it will show.

Role Description

A description of what you do at your institution to give prospects an insight of your educational background. Must be 80 characters.

Welcome Message

A message which appears when the prospect clicks in to start a chat with you. This can either be the default message below or if your Admin has enabled the feature to customize this then you can change it.

Hi! This is {First_Name}. This chat is a chance for you to get the information you need from staff. This could be a query about the school, the course structure, or anything else! staging test 123"
