How can I automate Community invites through the Unibuddy & Gecko integration?

We’ve partnered with Gecko to create a seamless integrated engagement platform that automates key workflows between Unibuddy and Gecko.

As part of the integration, students can now automatically receive their Community invites as soon as they reach a new stage in your Gecko workflow.

How to set it up

  1. Navigate to the Community section of your Unibuddy admin dashboard, click on the 3 dots for a specific community, and then copy the Community ID


  2. Create a new workflow in Gecko (please reach out to your CSM at Gecko if you need support with this step or the following 2 steps)

  3. Create a new trigger/action in Gecko within that new workflow


  4. Past the Community ID into the Gecko workflow
