The assistant CAN ONLY answer questions with content from your website, the assistant cannot search the internet or make assumptions itself, meaning the data is as accurate as your website is.

In addition, you can send us a list of individual web pages which might not be included in those three 'always learning' websites, which we can use to supplement the data that the assistant pulls from (the knowledge base). This can be useful, for example, if there is some official government advice which you'd like to include OR if your website has not yet been updated, but you have some information hosted elsewhere that you'd like the assistant to know.

Monitoring

You’ll be able to see the messages being asked to your assistant either through our pilot program dashboards (that will be shared with you if you choose to go live) or through your university dashboard. Here you can verify efficacy, and add content to your knowledge-base where you see gaps.

In addition, Unibuddy monitors response accuracy over time and will work closely with you if we see a decline in the assistants ability to respond to messages compared to the initial response quality at set-up time.
