As a result of the assistant using OpenAI’s GPT-4 API, Unibuddy shares data with OpenAI for the provision of this service.
Unibuddy has a data processing agreement in place with OpenAI which prevents OpenAI from using Unibuddy, and Unibuddy customer, data in order to train its models or for any purposes other than the provision of the service. OpenAI is listed on Unibuddy’s sub-processor list, and Unibuddy’s usage of it is covered by our Privacy Policy which students and you as an institution agree to when engaging with Unibuddy for the first time.
