Permission is important
To have a successful marketing campaign, you need to ensure you have permission for your email marketing list (also known as permission based-email lists).
Definition of Permission
What is “permission”? For email marketing, permission means that the recipient has provided you with explicit and informed consent to send marketing comms to them. For example, a blank checkbox for marketing messages in a signup flow indicates the users want to receive marketing emails from you.
Privacy Policy
Ensure your Privacy Policy covers user communications, including marketing emails. Where you are using third-party service providers for marketing campaigns, make sure they are listed as Sub-processors. Most organizations now publish their sub-processor list online to ensure they can be regularly updated. If you will be using Unibuddy to assist you in your outreach campaign, please ensure you list Unibuddy Limited as an authorized sub-processor.
