Microsoft Powerpoint sharing options for live streaming

PowerPoint is compatible with our Live Streaming product.

However, you may come across a slight glitch with some browsers that would make it appear as though the application window for PowerPoint cannot be shared. This can be mitigated by ensuring the PowerPoint window is minimized before sharing.

If you are using two screens, please be aware your presentation should be shared from your primary screen and not your secondary screen.

You may need to disconnect your second screen while presenting.

Other ways you can share a presentation via the application are:

  • Share your full screen.

  • Use Onedrive to share the presentation.

  • Use Google slides.

  • Convert Powerpoint file to PDF.

PLEASE NOTE: We highly recommend using the latest version of PowerPoint (Version 16.59 or newer). You may experience difficulties sharing your presentation when using older versions due to Microsoft updates.
