Once you have created a live event, a unique event URL is generated in the Live Events dashboard. This event URL links directly to the registration page and can be shared with students via email.


The live events signup process is identical to the main Unibuddy platform, and prospect data is captured in the Prospects menu on the left hand side.

In the Live Events menu, you can track key metrics for your event, before and after it has taken place. These include:

  • Page views.

  • New and returning prospect sign-ups.

  • Live feed totals.

  • Country information.


Promotion is key to the success of live chats, and we recommend a lead in time of at least 1-2 weeks to share the URL and generate sign-ups.

💡 Remember to send reminder emails on the day of the event, to maximise attendance.
